This little studio has more heart and fire then most. Named and built around the owner's dog Tilly, the Bean Dog Film Studio creates honest and captivating cinema ranging from commercial products to niche documentaries. Their team came ecstatic and eager to collaborate on a web portfolio to compliment their new brand. In ideation, the Bean Dog team brought forward a concept they had envisioned for their brand: “glimpses of our work floating through white”. From this our team diverged outward to create a design that felt breathable and exploratory, showcasing their work in a drifting sea of beautiful imagery. But after creating the desired look and feel it was our job to create a system that would give this sense of organic flow but allow for an easy CMS experience. Each grid was given a base system and organization, and then we create permutations to fight against repetition. The result is a system the Bean Dog team can feel confident expanding without losing the free flowing aesthetic or cluttering information.
